Description
Group of 10 antique personal and vanity accessories including trinket boxes, spectacles, perfume bottles, and a magnifying glass. Five footed trinket or jewelry boxes of various sizes with brass frames and inlaid panels of dyed bone. Two pairs of antique spectacles in black cases. Two hand-blown glass perfume bottles with stoppers. Magnifying glass with silverplate repousse handle marked S.B & S.L for Solomon Blanckensee & Sons. Largest item 2 1/2″ H x 6 1/2″ W x 4 1/4″ D.
Condition report:
Minor oxidation and tarnishing are present on the metal surfaces of the boxes and magnifying glass handle. The spectacle cases show surface scuffs and edge wear. The glass perfume bottles appear intact with minor wear to the gilt decoration.
