Collection of eight Franklin Library decorative hardcover classic literature books. Titles include Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky, Faust by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Fathers and Sons by Ivan Turgenev, Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, Plays by Anton Chekhov, Plays by Henrik Ibsen, and One Hundred Fairy Tales by The Brothers Grimm. Each volume with ornate gilt-stamped decorative patterns on the covers and spines with raised bands. The title pages denote scholarly translations and include illustrations by various artists. Largest book 9 1/2″ x 6 1/4″ x 1 1/8″
Condition report:
Minimal signs of wear to the covers and spines. Bindings are well-preserved with bright, intact gilding. Page edges show minimal shelf wear. Interior pages are clean and well-preserved.
