Abe Feit (American, 20th Century). Oil on canvas, winter scene, 1960. Signed lower right. Inscription on verso. Loose in frame. 17 1/2″ x 23 1/2″ sight size, 22 1/4″ x 29 1/4″ with frame.
Condition report:
The canvas exhibits significant circular staining and discoloration throughout the central area of the composition. All-over craquelure and surface dirt are present. The canvas is currently loose within the frame. The gilded wood frame shows heavy wear, including scuffing and significant losses to the gilded finish.
