George Smith chaise longue (Dog Kennel Bed) with tufted upholstery. Pictorial pattern with tigers, foliage, and monkeys carrying fruit baskets. Turned legs with brass casters. Brass maker’s plate on the underside inscribed George Smith, Handmade in Newcastle, England. 35″ H x 90″ W x 38″ D.
Condition report:
The upholstery is clean, and intact, with no visible tears, significant wear, or major staining. All tufting buttons are present and secure. The wooden legs and brass casters exhibit minor surface wear consistent with age and use.
