Description
Victorian Aesthetic Movement carved hardwood and tufted leather library armchair. Tufted burgundy leather upholstery with brass nailhead trim. Two front turned legs and two splayed back legs, all on brass casters. 46 1/4″ H x 28″ W x 29″ D. Seat height 20″ H.
Condition report:
The leather upholstery exhibits significant signs of age and wear, including heavy fading, overall crackling, and a visible tear on the seat cushion near a tufting button. The hardwood frame shows typical surface wear such as minor nicks, scratches, and small dings consistent with age and use. The brass casters are intact and appear original to the piece.
