Description
Victorian Chippendale style kneehole writing desk. Carved cabriole legs on ball-and-claw feet. Leather inlaid top. Five drawers on front and back of desk with pull-out writing slide on front. One drawer missing brass pull. Includes two keys; some drawers will not lock with provided keys. Brass lock plate on central front drawer stamped with a crown over initials VR. 32 1/2″ H x 57 1/2″ W x 32 1/2″ D.
Condition report:
Surface scratches, scuffs, and small chips to the wood and finish on the legs, apron edges, and drawer fronts. There is minor separation at the joints of the desktop border. The leather top and gold tooling show moderate signs of age-related wear. One drawer missing brass pull.
