Description
Six vintage electric toasters from American manufacturers including General Mills, Toastmaster, and Delta, dating from the 1930s through the 1950s. Mainly constructed with chrome-plated metal frames and Bakelite or plastic handles and bases. The General Mills model is a two-slice pop-up toaster featuring a rounded chrome body. The Toastmaster units include a slim single-slice model and multiple two-slice models showcasing Art Deco styling with tiered side panels and horizontal ribbed designs. The Delta Down Automatic toaster is a gravity-drop model with a flared base and a bottom opening for toast retrieval. The units are equipped with various power cords, including original cloth-wrapped and later rubberized versions. None tested. Largest 9″ H x 8″ W x 7″ D.
Condition report:
Visual inspection reveals surface wear, scratches, dust accumulation, and minor pitting or oxidation to the chrome finishes consistent with age and domestic use. Some cloth-wrapped cords show significant fraying or bunching. These items have not been tested for electrical functionality and are being sold for collection, display, or professional restoration.
