Description
BICLAM (Bennents Iron Company Limited Ardwick Manchester) cast iron and glass console table. Late 19th century cast iron frame. Glass top secured to frame with ten circular standoffs. Metal frame marked BICLAM on the central cross-member, No 280 on the upper frame on one side, and 42 IN on the opposite side. 30″ H x 42″ W x 16″ D.
Condition report:
The metal base exhibits a mottled and aged patina consistent with an industrial finish and intended aesthetic. The glass top displays minor surface scratches consistent with light use. The brass standoffs show light oxidation. No chips or cracks are visible on the glass.
