Description
Group of eight silver-plated serving trays and dishes. Includes a large oval Christofle tray; a large Webster square footed tray with a central engraved monogram R; an oval tray with handles; a long rectangular tray with a pierced gallery and handles; a circular pedestal cake stand; an open rectangular footed gallery frame; a small scalloped footed dish; and a simple oval dish. Largest tray 3″ H x 22″ diameter.
Condition report:
The collection shows varying degrees of wear consistent with age and use. Several silver-plated items exhibit heavy tarnish, surface scratches, and significant bleeding where the plating has worn through to the copper base metal. The Mexican sterling silver tray shows prominent surface oxidation and discoloration to the central well.
