Description
Large Louis XVI style gilt metal and glass five-light lantern chandelier. The frame is ornamented with cast-metal ribbon-and-bow mounts at the top of each vertical stile and a horizontal reeded band with foliate motifs. 34 3/4″ H x 16″ diameter.
Condition report:
The fixture shows an accumulation of surface dust and areas of minor oxidation to the gilt-metal finish, particularly localized on the central hub and candle cups. Wiring is present but untested.
