Description
Bandai Godaikin Machine Dolphin transforming toy set manufactured in 1984. This set is based on the Japanese television series Seiun Kamen Machineman and was produced in Japan for the US market by Bandai America. The toy is constructed from die-cast metal and plastic components and features a multi-form transformation mechanism, allowing the vehicle to convert into a car, a Dolphin Jet, or a Dolphin Robot. The set includes a Machine Man action figure with chrome-finished elements, a chrome-finished saber, a blaster, and two holsters. 11 1/2″ H x 8 1/2″ W x 3″ D.
Condition report:
The toy and figure appear in very good to excellent condition with bright paint, intact decals, and clear blue plastic canopies. No play wear or oxidation is visible on the die-cast metal components. The original box is in fair to good condition, showing shelf wear including edge rubbing, corner bumping, and light creasing. There is a small area of surface paper loss on the upper left front of the box. One side panel retains three vintage orange price stickers. The styrofoam insert and instruction sheet are present and intact.
