Description
Vintage Kenner Star Wars TIE Fighter, model No. 38040, produced c. 1978. The vehicle is constructed of molded white plastic with two large hexagonal wings featuring black textured panels. The central spherical cockpit is detailed with a hinged clear plastic canopy and an interior console decal. The toy is accompanied by its original box bearing the Star Wars and Kenner logos. 11″ H x 12 1/2″ W x 4″ D.
Condition report:
The plastic vehicle exhibits moderate age-related yellowing and surface discoloration throughout. The clear canopy shows light surface scuffing. The original box is in fair condition, showing significant shelf wear, creasing, edge tears, and tape residue. Functionality of electronic components has not been tested.
