Description
Three unbuilt character model kits released in the early 1990s. The collection includes a Dark Horse Comics Ray Harryhausen King Kong cold-cast porcelain assembly kit. This specific kit is numbered 22 of 756 and contains unpainted porcelain parts housed in original packaging. The second item is a 1992 Dark Horse Comics King Kong soft vinyl assembly kit, kit number 1092-05, which remains in its original factory shrink-wrap. The third item is a Kaiyodo Dragon Ball 1/8 scale soft vinyl model kit of the character Ma Junior (Piccolo), sculpted by Tetsuro Kato. Largest box 9″ H x 10 1/2″ W x 10 1/2″ D.
Condition report:
The kits are in varying states of preservation. The cold-cast porcelain kit box shows shelf wear including edge rubbing and surface creasing, but the contents appear unused and complete. The vinyl King Kong kit is factory sealed in shrink-wrap, though the wrap shows minor scuffing. The Dragon Ball kit box exhibits more significant wear, including corner bumping, edge rubbing, and some structural softening, while the internal plastic bag of parts remains sealed.
