Description
Six vintage Soviet and Hungarian space-themed tin lithograph toys with several original boxes. The lot includes a gold-toned tin lithograph Interkosmos rocket produced by Lemezáru Gyár in Hungary, featuring CCCP and star insignia on the fins and an original triangular box. An Interkozmosz space car is constructed of blue and silver tin with a clear plastic canopy and pilot figure. A grey plastic mechanical robot is present with its original box featuring Russian Cyrillic text. The assortment also includes two Hungarian Rakétapisztoly tin ray guns with astronaut-themed lithography and original boxes, and one red tin Atomic ray gun marked Made in Japan. Largest item 14″ H x 5 1/2″ W x 5″ D.
Condition report:
Tin surfaces show expected signs of age including surface scratches, minor paint loss, and small indentations. Plastic components on the car and ray guns exhibit light surface scuffing. The original cardboard packaging shows moderate wear with edge scuffing, creasing, and some small tears.
