Robert Sanders (American, b. 1950). Oil on canvas, naval engagement scene. Signed lower right. Sight size 23 1/2″ x 35 1/2″ ; with frame 32″ x 44″.


Condition report:

Small puncture and localized area of paint loss in the lower center portion of the sea. Minor surface abrasions and linear marks in the upper left quadrant of the sky. Gilt frame shows minor surface wear and small losses to the gilding. Canvas appears re-lined.
