Description
American Aesthetic Movement walnut and marble top side table with figured wood veneers. It features a rectangular top with a wide, chamfered wood border housing an inset variegated reddish-brown marble surface. The apron is decorated with incised geometric lines and stylized sunburst motifs centered on each side. The top is supported by a four-post pedestal base featuring a central turned and carved urn-form finial. 29 1/4″ H x 25″ W x 19″ D.
Condition report:
There is a small loss to the wood veneer on the upper frame and light surface scuffing throughout. The central turned finial shows minor finish losses and nicks. The legs have scattered surface scratches and minor indentations. The marble top is intact with light surface wear and some dust accumulation in the crevices.
