Description
C.F. Martin and Co. LX1 Little Martin six-string acoustic travel-sized guitar. The instrument features a solid Sitka spruce top with mahogany-pattern High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) back and sides. The neck is constructed from multi-layered rust birch laminate and features a black Richlite fingerboard with 20 frets. The bridge is also crafted from black Richlite with a compensated white TUSQ saddle and a white Corian nut. The headstock displays a gold C.F. Martin and Co. EST. 1833 decal on the face. Chrome enclosed gear tuning machines are present, each bearing the Martin logo stamped on the casing. An internal label confirms the model as LX1 with serial number 243730 and identifies the origin as Made in Mexico. The lot includes an original Martin-branded padded black nylon gig bag with a gold-embroidered logo. 34″ L x 12 1/2″ W x 3 1/4″ D.
Condition report:
No visible cracks, major scratches, or structural defects. The finish on the solid spruce top remains clean with minimal signs of play wear. A chrome strap button has been installed on the neck heel. The hardware shows no signs of oxidation, and the gig bag is in excellent condition with a functioning zipper.
