Description
Set of five hand-painted, die-cast lead alloy flat figures, traditionally known as Zinnfiguren, manufactured in Germany. The figures depict characters and scenes from the famous 19th-century German children’s book Der Struwwelpeter (Shockheaded Peter) by Heinrich Hoffmann. Each figure features an integral base. Largest piece 3 1/4″ H x 3 1/4″ W x 1/2″ D.

Condition report:
The figures are in excellent condition with vibrant, well-preserved paint throughout. Minor surface wear and tiny paint flakes are present on some edges and along the integral bases. The pieces are structurally sound with no evidence of breaks or repairs.
