Bourmand Byron (Haitian, 1920-2004). Oil on masonite, Haitian village scene. Signed lower right. 31″ x 39″ sight size, 33″ x 41″ with frame.

Condition report:
The painted surface appears stable with no evidence of flaking or significant paint loss. Minor surface dust is present. The verso of the Masonite panel shows extensive water staining along the upper edge. The wooden frame has minor surface abrasions and wear consistent with age and handling.
