Giovanni Spellani (Italian, 1831-1927). Vintage color lithograph film poster for the production Niniche. Issued by Caesar Film – Roma. Plate-signed lower left. Caesar Film mark in the upper right with company logo in the lower right. Printer’s credit lower left. The poster has been professionally linen-backed. 39 3/8″ x 27 1/2″ sight size, 40 7/8″ x 29 1/4″ linen sheet size.
Condition report:
The poster exhibits significant overall paper toning consistent with age. There is a prominent vertical center fold accompanied by brown staining. Additional light staining and foxing are visible near the bottom center. The lower edge shows minor handling wear including small paper losses. The print is currently unframed and the linen backing is stable.
