Charles Lemmel (French, 1899-1976). Pair of vintage lithograph Bonal L’Ami des Sportifs advertising posters. Each poster is marked along the bottom margin with the printer credit IMPRIMERIE SPÉCIALE DES ÉTABLISSEMENTS BONAL. Each poster 31 x 23 inches.

Condition report:
Both posters are unframed and show signs of age and handling. There are light creases throughout the sheets and visible edge wear characterized by small nicks, short tears, and minor paper loss along the borders. The rugby poster has a small tear on the right edge. The boxing poster exhibits paper loss at the lower right corner and some jaggedness along the bottom edge. Light toning is present across both sheets.
