Description
Yuri Kuper (Russian, b. 1940). Large-format artist book or portfolio, titled Doodlings, created for an exhibition at Galerie Rambert. The volume is constructed as a bound paper portfolio featuring a heavily textured and distressed dark-toned cover with visible red and brown pigments and intentional wear over board. The interior includes a title page transcribing as YURI KUPER Doodlings A LA GALERIE RAMBERT and an introductory text written in French. The work contains a series of full-page printed plates depicting various aged or weathered objects. 17″ H x 12 3/4″ W x 1 1/2″ with slipcase.
