Description
Pierre Clerk (American/Canadian, b. 1928). Pair of large-scale geometric abstract screenprints, both dated 1972. Pencil signed Clerk 72 lower right and inscribed AP lower left. These works are executed on heavyweight paper. Each sheet 39 3/4 x 39 3/4 inches.
Condition report:
Both prints exhibit minor edge wear and light handling creases. The monochromatic print displays faint surface scuffing in the black ink fields. The reverse of the monochromatic print has a pencil notation reading AP (DAMAGED), likely referencing the light surface scuffs or handling marks.
