Takahashi Hiroaki (Shotei) (Japanese, 1871-1945). Pair of woodblock prints, Shower at Terashima and Moon Over Lake Hakone. Moon Over Lake Hakone signed upper left. Terashima signed lower left. Each woodblock 14 1/2″ x 6 1/2″ sight size. Frame size 19 1/2″ x 11 1/2″ (Terashima).

Condition report:

Both prints show visible paper toning consistent with age. The unframed Moon over Lake Hakone print has minor wear and slight fraying at the upper edge, with typical ink bleed-through visible on the reverse. The framed Rain at Terashima print remains in stable condition within its modern housing. The frame shows minor surface scuffs.
