Description
Pair of Mason’s neoclassical style twin-handled ironstone urns with hand-painted seashell motifs. Each urn is supported by a fluted green and gold foot resting on a square gilt pedestal base. Marked on the underside Mason’s Patent Ironstone China. 8 1/2" H x 7 1/8" W.

Condition report:
Both urns exhibit significant spots of glaze and paint loss, particularly on the maroon bands and within the hand-painted cartouches. There is general wear and thinning to the gilded surfaces on the handles, rims, and square bases. The interiors show dark staining and residue at the points of attachment.
