Description
Tiffany style dragonfly leaded glass table lamp. The conical shade is constructed of leaded glass panels in a palette of green and mottled blue, accented by yellow and purple floral motifs. The lower border displays six dragonfly figures with light blue glass bodies and intricate metal filigree overlays on their wings. The lamp features a decorative patinated metal base with an illuminated interior, composed of relief-cast metal dragonflies over a mosaic background of green and blue glass tiles. The lamp is finished with a metal heat cap, a decorative finial, and a three-socket cluster. The wiring is modern with a molded two-prong plug. 16 x 16 x 16 inches. Location: 20B
Condition report:
The lamp is in very good contemporary condition. There are no visible cracks, chips, or fractures to the leaded glass panels in the shade or the mosaic base. The patinated metal surfaces exhibit minor shelf wear and light oxidation consistent with age and use. Filigree overlays on the dragonfly wings are intact and secure. The wiring is modern and the lamp is in functional condition.
