Description
A coordinated three piece collection of silver plated holloware manufactured by the Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co. of Port Jervis, New York, featuring the ornate Victorian style Vintage pattern of grapes and vines. The set includes a large rectangular handled tray, a footed tree and well meat platter, and a covered vegetable dish. All items are stamped on the underside with the Crescent Silverware Mfg. Co. marks. Largest tray 26″ L. Location: 24C
Condition report:
The set is in fair to good condition consistent with age and regular use. There is significant plating wear, commonly referred to as bleeding, where the underlying base metal is visible on the high points of the cast grape borders and handles. The surfaces exhibit typical fine scratches, moderate tarnish, and small areas of oxidation. No major dents or structural repairs are observed.
