Roberto Matta (Chilean, 1911-2002). Etching and aquatint, from the portfolio titled Les Oh! Tomobiles. Pencil-signed lower right. Trial proof, inscribed essai lower left. 16 1/4″ x 21 1/4″ plate size, 20″ x 26″ sheet size. Location: CR Drawer 5
Condition report:
The paper shows general toning consistent with age. There are several small spots of foxing and light staining primarily confined to the margins, most notably in the lower right corner and along the upper edge. The reverse shows some light handling marks and minor adhesive residue from a previous mounting. The image area remains well-preserved with vibrant colors and crisp impression quality.
