Description
This mixed media painting on heavy textured paper is by Qin Yuan Yue and is titled Morning Tide. The work depicts a stylized female figure playing a flute, set within an abstract landscape containing a large avian form and a celestial sun motif. The composition is rendered in the heavy-color style characteristic of the Yunnan School, featuring vibrant blues, purples, and oranges accented with extensive hand-applied metallic gold leaf. The figure is adorned in garments with intricate geometric and tribal-inspired patterns. The artwork is executed on a thick white paper support with natural deckled edges. It is signed in pencil at the lower right corner as Qin Yuan Yue and is accompanied by a red circular artist seal.

Condition report:
The artwork is in very good condition. It is unframed and displays minor edge wear typical of unmounted paper. The verso shows small, scattered spots of foxing and minor surface staining.
