Description
A pair of monumental Neoclassical revival style floor candle holders accompanied by two pillar candles. The holders are crafted from patinated metal with hollow interiors. Each features a flared bobeche with gadrooned and foliate borders. The column-form stem is decorated with cast motifs including floral swags, grape clusters, wheat stalks, and acanthus leaf palmettes. The holders terminate in a large tri-form base supported by paw feet. 39.25″ H x 12.75″ W x 12.75″ D. This lot is located offsite in Rumson, New Jersey and will be available for PICKUP ONLY. Condition report:
Tarnish, oxidation, and minor surface pitting are present throughout the metal. Scattered scratches, scuffs, and wax residue are consistent with use as floor-standing decor. Both pieces are structurally sound and stand level.
