48-piece porcelain partial dinner and tea service in the Blue Canton pattern, produced by Mottahedeh as part of the Historic Charleston Reproductions line. Each piece marked on the underside. Partial tea service contains: 8 teacups and 8 matching saucers, 2 tall mugs, 1 teapot, 1 sugar bowl, and 1 creamer. Partial dinner service contains: 4 dinner plates (10″), 8 salad plates (8 3/4″), 2 rimmed plates (8 3/4″), 6 soup/cereal bowls (6 3/4″), 4 bread and butter plates (7″), 2 porringers, and 1 salt cellar. Largest item (teapot) 6″ H x 9″ W x 5″ D. Location: 11D
Condition report:
One handled porringer bowl has a significant chip on the rim. One soup or cereal bowl has a small chip on the rim. There is light surface wear consistent with age and use.
