Description
A matching pair of table lamps featuring neoclassical-style figural bases crafted from white bisque porcelain. Each base depicts a classical female figure standing on an ornate scrolling pedestal, accompanied by a small child or cherub holding a basket of flowers. The lamps are equipped with cream-colored pleated fabric bell shades and white ball finials. The underside of the porcelain bases retains a gold foil manufacturer label that reads HAND PAINTED, Andrea, by SADEK, and MADE IN JAPAN. Tested and working. 28″ H x 16″ W x 16″ D.

Condition report:
The white bisque porcelain surfaces exhibit visible orange-brown staining and scattered dark spots or foxing, most notably around the decorative bases and the lower portions of the figures. The white-painted metal support rods show multiple areas of paint loss, nicks, and exposed dark metal. The mounting hardware on the underside of the bases shows significant surface oxidation and rust. The pleated fabric shades show light overall aging and minor dust accumulation. The electrical cords are aged and yellowed; while the lamps are reported to be in working condition, professional inspection or rewiring is recommended for safety.
