Description
Raingo Freres patinated bronze three piece clock garniture set. Late 19th century. The set includes a central architectural mantel clock and a pair of matching three light candelabra. The clock case features a domed top with an ornate finial, supported by fluted corner columns and decorated with cast foliate and geometric openwork. The dial features twelve white enamel cartouches with blue Roman numerals. A central white enamel plaque is marked RAINGO FRES a PARIS. The base of the clock is stamped 880 on the rear corner. Clock 15″ H x 8 3/4″ W x 7″ D. Candelabra 12″ H. Location: 14E
Condition report:
The set displays a general aged patina with verdigris and oxidation throughout. There is a notable chip to the white enamel cartouche at the eleven o clock position. The included keys are rusted. The clock is not running.
