Renato Aime (Italian-American, 1946-2014). Oil on board, impressionistic village landscape, 2010. The work exhibits broad brushwork with visible impasto in the foliage and sky. The painting is signed and dated Renato Aime ’10 in the lower right corner. It is housed in a contemporary gilt-finished, multi-tiered wood frame. The verso features a printed business label for Renato Aime Art, Inc. of Harrington Park, New Jersey. Image size: 19.5 x 19.5 inches. Frame size: 23.75 x 23.75 inches.

Condition report:
The painting exhibits significant paint loss and active flaking along the lower edge of the board, most notably in the center and towards the right corner where the paint layer has delaminated from the support. There is minor surface dirt and light dust throughout. The frame shows small scuffs and gilt loss on the edges.
