Description
A pair of Yamaha NS-1000M Monitor 3-way loudspeaker systems featuring an acoustic suspension design. The cabinets are finished in a black wood-grain veneer and include removable black fabric grilles. The front baffles are marked YAMAHA NS-1000 MONITOR and are equipped with independent rotary controls for High Level and Mid Level output adjustments. The driver configuration consists of a large woofer, a mesh-covered beryllium dome midrange unit, and a mesh-covered beryllium dome tweeter. The rear terminal panels identify the units as Model NS-1000M with an 8-ohm impedance, manufactured by Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd. in Hamamatsu, Japan. One unit is marked with serial number 16164 L. Both speakers retain their original Passed inspection stickers signed by K. Yamamura.

Condition report:
The speakers exhibit moderate signs of use and age. There are visible scuffs and finish wear along the top edges of the cabinets and several small chips in the black finish on the sides and corners. Surface dust is present across the baffles and driver surrounds. The driver cones and domes appear physically intact behind their protective grilles. The electronic functionality and internal crossover condition have not been tested.
