Description
A partial dinner service manufactured by Coalport in the Fortune pattern. The set is crafted from white bone china and features scalloped, gilded rims. Decoration includes multi-colored floral sprays and a yellow-ground border with coordinating floral motifs. This set comprises 11 dinner plates (10.5″), 11 salad or dessert plates (7.75″), 12 bread and butter plates (5.75″), 10 footed teacups (3″ H), 10 saucers or fruit bowls (5.75″), one large oval serving platter (12.5″ L), one oval open serving bowl (10″ L), and one gravy boat (8.75″ L). Each piece is marked on the base with a blue underglaze stamp reading Bone China, Coalport, Made in England, Est. 1750, Fortune.

Condition report:
The gilded edges and enamel floral decorations are largely intact with minimal signs of utensil wear. One dinner plate shows signs of restoration and gluing on the underside. One teacup has a small chip. Some pieces show light shelf wear and minor brown discoloration on the unglazed foot rims.
