Description
Gelatin silver print, production still from the landmark 1975 film Jaws. This behind-the-scenes photograph depicts author Peter Benchley interviewing actor Richard Dreyfuss, who portrayed oceanographer Matt Hooper, on the beach during location filming. Benchley, author of the 1974 novel Jaws, famously made a cameo appearance in the film as a television reporter. The photograph captures the two men in conversation amid the activity of the beach set, offering a candid glimpse of the production of one of the most influential films in American cinema. Frame: 8 3/8" H x 10 3/8" W x 3/4" D.
