Description
Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006). Squalo bianco, an Italian first edition translation of the novel White Shark. Published in Milan by Euroclub Italia S.p.A. in 1996, the volume was produced under license from R.C.S. Libri & Grandi Opere S.p.A. The volume is bound in red publisher’s cloth with a sewn-in red ribbon bookmark. The internal text is translated from the original English by Enrico Lepri. 8 3/4″ H x 5 5/8″ W x 1 1/2″ D.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
The volume is in overall good condition. The dust jacket displays minor shelf wear with light bumping and slight creasing to the upper and lower edges. The red cloth binding is tight and the internal pages remain clean and bright.
