Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006). Two softcover novels translated into the Czech language. The first volume, titled Bestie, is a translation of the 1991 novel Beast, published by Príroda in 1992. The second volume, Satanské moře, is a translation of the 1979 novel The Island, published by Naše vojsko in 1994. 8 1/8″ H x 5 1/8″ W x 5/8″ D.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
Good overall condition. The pictorial wrappers show minor shelf wear and light creasing at the spine edges. Spines are legible and intact. The text blocks remain tightly bound with clean pages free of foxing, marginalia, or stamps.
