David Doubilet (American, b. 1946). Cibachrome print, split-level underwater scene featuring a crab in mangroves. Pencil-signed lower right. The print is presented in a white mat and a silver-plated metal frame under glass. Marked on the verso Cranbury Station Gallery. Frame: 16 x 20 x 1 in.
From the personal collection of Peter Benchley (American, 1940–2006), acclaimed author of Jaws, accomplished diver, and prominent advocate for ocean and shark conservation.
Condition report:
The print is in excellent condition with no visible signs of fading, foxing, or silver mirroring. The metal frame shows minor surface scuffing from handling.
