Description
Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006). Three volumes of Spanish language translations of The Island, Beast, and The Girl of the Sea of Cortez. The group contains a paperback edition of Isla, published in 1981 by Editorial Argos Vergara, S.A., and two hardcover editions with dust jackets issued by Círculo de Lectores. The titles include La chica del mar de Cortés, printed in Bogotá, Colombia in 1984, and La bestia. The works feature translations by Antonio Samons, Montserrat Solanas, and Domingo Santos respectively. Largest copy: 8 3/8" H x 5 1/4" W x 7/8" D.

Condition report:
Moderate shelf wear is visible across all volumes. The dust jackets on the hardcover editions exhibit rubbing and minor creasing at the extremities. The page edges show light toning consistent with age. Minor bumping is present at the head and tail of the spines. No visible writing or inscriptions are present in the text.
