Description
Peter Benchley (American, 1940-2006). A collection of three Italian-language hardcover editions of novels by the author of Jaws. The volumes include L’Isola (The Island), published by Arnoldo Mondadori Editore as a first Italian edition in June 1979. Also present are Tentacoli (Beast), published by Longanesi & C. in 1991, and La Ragazza del Mare di Cortes (The Girl of the Sea of Cortez), published by Euroclub in 1986. Each book is bound in publisher’s cloth or boards and retains its original pictorial dust jacket. L’Isola features a minimalist graphic cover design on cream stock, while Tentacoli and La Ragazza del Mare di Cortes feature vibrant marine-themed illustrations. 8 7/8" H x 5 7/8" W x 1 1/8" D.

Condition report:
L\'Isola displays light tanning to the dust jacket and page edges, with minor rubbing at the corners and spine ends. Tentacoli shows light shelf wear and surface rubbing to the glossy dust jacket. La Ragazza del Mare di Cortes exhibits minor edge wear to the jacket and light fading at the spine. The bindings for all three volumes are tight and secure.
