Description
A Castello KKK briar tobacco pipe in a polished reddish-brown finish. The pipe features a Dublin or Zulu-shaped bowl with a clean, unsmoked chamber and a black tapered stem. The construction includes a metal band at the shank junction and a white bar logo inset on the stem. The briar shank is stamped on one side with a circular mark containing Castello Trade Mark and a separate mark reading Made in Cantu Italy. The underside of the shank is stamped 16, KKK within an oval, and Carlo Scotti within a separate oval. The stem is stamped Hand Made Castello and 5. The original tan textured cardboard box is present, featuring a white interior lid printed with a castle logo and Trade Mark Pipa Castello Carlo Scotti – Cantu (Italia). 6 1/4" L x 1 3/8" W x 2 1/8" H.

Condition report:
The briar bowl and shank show no visible signs of use or wear. The metal band at the shank junction exhibits significant oxidation, green discoloration, and surface pitting. The black stem is free of teeth chatter or oxidation. The original box shows light shelf wear and minor staining to the exterior.
