Description
Art Deco floor-standing ashtray featuring a cast iron frame with a brown-painted finish and a removable amber glass insert. The stand is designed in a geometric skyscraper aesthetic, featuring a square base with an openwork radiating sunburst motif. The angular stem is constructed with tiered and winged architectural elements supporting a square top frame. The frame displays a repeating triangular chevron-patterned rim and is topped with a central basket-style handle. The circular glass ashtray insert is finished with a pressed diamond geometric pattern on the underside. Unsigned. 25" H x 7 1/2" W x 7 1/2" D.

Condition report:
The cast iron frame shows overall wear to the brown-painted finish with surface scuffs and minor losses. The underside of the base exhibits surface oxidation and accumulated dust. The amber glass insert appears in good condition with no visible chips or cracks.
