Condition report:
The textile is in fair to good condition consistent with age and the delicate nature of the silk. There is visible fraying and numerous loose threads along the unfinished perimeter edges. Moderate staining and yellowish foxing are present, particularly on the white silk sections of the Democratic ribbons. Several small holes and vertical splits are visible in the silk fabric across multiple ribbons.
