Anthony Trollope (England, 1815-1882). The Last Chronicle of Barset. First edition, in 32 original weekly parts. December 1866-July 1867. Smith, Elder & Co., London. In brown cloth and leather faux book clamshell case with gilt lettering and raised bands.
Wear, creases and small tears to paper wrappers, wear and minor tears to spines, some wear and creasing to pages, names written in ink on sides or across top of some paper wrappers, wear to leather and some shelf wear to case.
Provenance: private collection, New York City; thence by descent.
