Near pair of Continental Rococo style folding screens. 20th century. Three panels to each screen with nailhead trim. Each panel decorated with floral motifs and allegorical scenes of animals in pastoral landscapes, possibly depictions of Aesop’s Fables. "GK" initialed on lower left on rightmost panel on one screen. Light scuffs and wear throughout painted scenes and backs on each screen. Small losses to paint on upper edges on backs of panels on one screen.Open: 50 1/2" W x 7/8" D x 45 1/4" H. Closed : 16 5/8" W x 2 3/4" D x 45 1/4" H. Each screen weighs 12 lbs.
