Osgood, McIlvaine and Co., 45 Albermarle Street, London, printed by R. & R. Clark, Edinburg. Tan cloth boards with gilt lettering and honeysuckle decoration by Charles Ricketts. Chapter XXXV misnumbered as XXV on page 199 volume 2.
5 3/8" x 7 3/4".
Wear and minor staining to cloth boards, shelf wear, wear and bending to corners and spines, writing in pencil to front pastedown and endpaper volume 1 and rear endpaper volume 2, some pages separating from bindings.
Provenance: Ximenes Rare Books, East 85th Street, New York, 10/12/1970; private collection New York City; thence by descent.
