Jacques Guillon (French-Canadian, 1922-2020). 20th century. Mid Century Modern chair in angular form executed in laminated walnut and nylon. Originally designed in 1952. "Made in Canada" printed on underside of bottom of back splat. Wear, scuffs, marks, scratches, and losses to finish throughout wood of chair. Back splat of chair is slightly loose. Chip and small loss to wood where seat meets back splat on left side. Wear throughout nylon cords. Top nylon cord is slightly loose. Fraying to bottom most nylon cord.
22 1/2" W x 22 3/4" D x 32 1/2" H. Seat height of 18 3/4" H. 7 lbs.
