H, Winthrop Peirce (Pierce) (American, 1850-1935). Oil on canvas panel illustration, Gwendolyn and Grandcourt, for George Eliot’s Daniel Deronda. Signed lower right, with additional notations in the lower margin. "Eliot" written on verso. Panel 14" x 8". Some fraying to corners, discoloration in the lower margin, some paint loss along edges and to corners.
